The complex Villa Augustus in Dordrecht was transformed in 2006 from a former watercleaning facility to a hotel annex restaurant. These are surrounded by a beautiful garden, where they also grow the vegetables that are used in the restaurant. Studio NL-D designed in collaboration with Dorine de Vos the missing toppings of the four towers. Main subjective was to interprete the monumental silhouet of the former watertower to a modern language. The additional elements such as the outside staircase were added as transparant as possible.
