The Haus der Projekte (2012) for Hamburg Veddel was realized as a result of an IBA competition taht we won in 2008. Main objective of the community centre is to support young adults on the transition from school to work, often as a second chance. This idea was strengthened by the idea to involve the future users already in the building process. The building is divided in three different programmatic parts. The ground floor hosts the boat building workshop with acces to the water, on the upper floor there is the main entrance with seminar rooms, offices, a cantine and in the attic a music room. The building was opened in 2012.
