MS Cuba is a former belgium cargo ship from the type spits. It was build in 1949 and restored and transformed carefully from on 2003. The traditional shippers apartment remained original with old built-in closets and an alcove. The former cargo room was changed into a modern living and working environment. Studio NL-D works here since 2005 in the Leuvehaven, Rotterdam. New accessory to the ship is our self-made badboot, that is a polyester fit-in of the old rowing boat. The water is warmed up by a wood stove. Sitting on the top of the roof it offers great views on the skyline.
